Jaime Serra (Chairman) is chairman of SAI Law and Economics and the NAFTA Fund of Mexico. He served in the Mexican government as Undersecretary of Finance, Secretary of Trade and Industry and Secretary of Finance. He led the negotiation and implementation of NAFTA; headed the negotiations of free trade agreements with Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, Bolivia and Costa Rica, and promoted the creation of the Federal Competition Commission. He is Director of the Board of the following publicly listed companies: Chiquita Brands International, The Mexico Fund, Tenaris, Vitro and Grupo Modelo. He graduated in Political Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, earned his MA in economics at El Colegio de Mexico and his Ph.D. in Economics at Yale University. He has been professor of economics at El Colegio de Mexico, Stanford, Princeton and NYU. He received Yale’s Wilbur Lucius Cross Medal, the National Prize of Social Sciences of Mexico and the National Prize of Economics of Mexico.
Gilberto Borja is President of Desarrollos Marinos del Caribe and Grupo Baia, construction service companies. He worked in Grupo ICA and is Director of International Relations of the Colegio de Arquitectos de México and of the Federación de Colegios de Arquitectos de la República Mexicana. He serves on the board of PRONATURA, an ecology conservation foundation. He obtained his degree in arquitecture at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Serge Brachet is a founding partner and serves on the board of aklara. Serge designed and executed the first auction, for the Mexican federal government, for the acquisition of thermal coal, with a transaction value of over 1,000 million dollars. He has been responsible for more than 65 public tenders under the auction modality and more than 5,000 auctions for clients such as Volaris, Microsoft and Televisa. He was an economic analyst at SAI Consultores. He is a founding partner and serves on the board of Operadora Bajo de la Tintorera. He obtained a BA in Economics from Universidad Iberoamericana and a MBA from the University of Texas, Austin.
Claudio X González is Chairman of the Board of Kimberly-Clark de Mexico. He serves on the Board of Directors of Kimberly-Clark Corporation, General Electric., Kellogg's Company, Planet Hollywood International, Grupo Financiero Banamex Accival, Grupo Carso, Grupo Industrial Alfa, Grupo Televisa, Fondo México, JP Morgan (International Advisory Council) and Teléfonos de México. He has been Chairman of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial and of the Consejo Mexicano de Hombres de Negocios in México. He earned his BS in engineering at Stanford University.
Thomas Malloy recently retired as Vice President of Engineering for Adobe Systems' Advanced Technology Group. In previous roles at Adobe, he managed the development of the first version of Adobe Illustrator for Windows, Adobe Illustrator 3.0 for the Macintosh, and Adobe Type manager for Macintosh and Windows. He worked at Apple Computer, where he managed software development for the Lisa computer, the precursor to the Macintosh. He worked at Xerox Palo Alto Research Center, developing application prototypes. He obtained his BS and MS in Computer Science at Stanford University.

Fernando Ruiz is a founding partner at Chevez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cía. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, Fresnillo, Grupo Cementos de Chihuahua, Grupo Financiero Santander, Grupo México, Grupo Nacional Provincial, Grupo Palacio de Hierro, Grupo Pochteca, Kimberly Clark, Mexichem, Rassini and ArcelorMittal México. He is a member of the Colegio de Contadores Públicos de México, the Instituto Mexicano de Contadores Públicos de México and the Instituto Mexicano de Ejecutivos de Finanzas. He obtained his BA as a Certified Public Accountant at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
